Wendy McReynolds, Assistant ADfor Marketing & Promotions Wendy McReynolds begins her first year at USD as tl1e Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Promotions. Wendy comes to USD from Virgina Tech where she held the title of Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions since 2001. Priorto that she was the assistant for one year (2000). Prior to her appointment at Virginia Tech

USD, brings a wealth of experience to this position, most recently as the Development Officer for the San Diego Symphony. Prior to that she held positions as Publishing Product Man– ager for Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. in San Diego; as Development Relations Manager for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon; and as Special Events Program Coordinator for the Office of Development at the University of Oregon. She received her Master of Arts in Arts & Administration (emphasis in Management and Marketing) from the University of Oregon in 1998. She received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design, with a minor in Marketing, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1994. Josh Lawrence Director ofJenny Craig Pavilion Josh Lawrence is the Director of the Jenny

she also gained experience at the University of Maryland where she was Assistant Director of Sport Marketing for two years, at Wichita State for two years as the Assistant for Sports Marketing & Promotions and at the University of Florida Athletic Association as a Marketing Assistant. She earned her B.S. degree in Sport Management from Guilford College in 1994 and her M.S. degree in Sport Management from West Virginia in 1996. ~~~~~~~ Andy Fee, Assistant ADfor Athletic Facilities & Operations Andy Fee is in his second year at USD, and his first in the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations. Fee assists John Martin in overseeing all the scheduling, field maintenance and purchasing for the department's amletic venues. Fee came to USD from Arizona State Uni– versity where he was Assistant Director of Facility Operations for Athletics the past two seasons. Before that he was Facility Supervisor for the ASU Student Recreation Complex. Besides his work at ASU, he developed Athletics and Management skills with the NFL Cardinals, Fiesta Bowl and PGA Phoenix Open. From Scottsdale, Arizona, he earned his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History in 1996 from Arizona State University. Andy and his wife, Nicole, were married this past August and reside in San Diego. Dean Aresco Strength & Conditioning Coach Dean Aresco is in his third season as USD's Strength and Conditioning Coach. He came to USD via Towson State Univer– sity where he was their head coach for three sea– sons. Additional professional experiences include stints at the University of Connecticut as a Gradu– ate Assistant, and at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in San Diego as the Interim Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He earned his B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1995 from the Uni– versity of Connecticut, and is close to completing his M.A. degree there in the same field. A NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he also holds memberships with NSCA, the U.S. Weightlifting Federation, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Jimmy Goins, JCP Fitness Center Director/

Craig Pavilion and comes to USD after 7 years at UC San Diego, where his responsibilities included managing the R.IMAC Arena. Josh's duties in– cluded coordinating all events, from athletic com– petition to the presentation of concerts and spe– cial events, as well as maintenance throughout

the Sports Facilities at UCSD.

Here at USD, Josh's responsibilities will include scheduling, staffing and all management aspects of the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In this capacity he will manage the daily operations of the faci lity, including event management and marketing of the Pavilion. Josh received his B.S. from UC San Diego in 1993 with a double major in Political Science and U.S. History.

Derek Hillestad JCP Asst. Director/ Events Manager

Derek Hillestad begins his second year as Assistant Director of theJenny Craig Pavilion and Events Manager. He came to USD from Ball State University where he was a Graduate Assistant for Sports Facilities and Recreation Programs in 2001-02.

During this time he was also a Security Control Supervisor for the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also earned job related experience as an Event Operations Supervisor for Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin; as a Program Assistant for the Department of Recreational Sports at Texas A&M; and as Event Co-Coordinator for the Department of Recreation Management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He graduated from Wisconsin-La Crosse with a B.S. in Recre– ation Management (2000), and received his M.S. in Athletic Administration from Ball State University in July of 2002.

Asst Strength & Conditioning Coach Jim.my Goins begins his third year at USD where he is the Jenny Craig Pavilion Fitness Center Director, along witl1 being the Assistant Strengm and Conditioning Coach. Prior to USD, Goins was me Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for me Cincinnati Reds AA team,

Tony Valle begins his second year as USD's Athletics Ticket Manager at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. Valle came to USD from Ohio State

University where he was the Assistant Director for Athletics Ticketing and Game Management for two years. Prior to that he was a Customer Service Manager at Ohio State University for a little more than one year. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Ohio State University in 1999, and a B.A. in Criminology in 1998. He is currently enrolled in the University of San Diego's Masters Program for Education.

He earned his B.S. degree in Kinesiology from LSU (1998), men later earned a M.S. degree in Sport Management and M.S. minor in Nutrition from Tennessee (2000). He is a member of me National Strengm Coaches Association, and is a certified Strengm and Conditioning Specialist.
