Banquet Event Order

Making the Banquet Event Order (BEO) is a significant step within the organization of an event. This document is required to run events effectively and without problems. You will find all the important information in the different sections of the BEO, which are:

The event date:

shows the date the event is scheduled for

Date distributed:

shows when the BEO was distributed or updated and by

whom (see

ID)

Time:

shows when the event is scheduled to begin

Event:

shows the type or theme of the event i.e. Wedding,

Birthday, Location: Member:

Luncheon, Dinner etc.

shows where the event is being held

shows which member is hosting and paying the event

Attendance:

shows the number of guests attending the event

Menu:

different types of menus determine the set up of the tables of service, difference: i.e. Buffet, a la carte, preset items etc.

and flow

 Staff requirements: shows how many stuff is needed. Is there any special staff required i.e. valet parkers, bathroom attendants, security etc.  Function notes: shows if there is anything else important for the event, i. e.: entertainment needs, band, audio-visual requirements,

special

lighting or linen etc.

Accounting:

shows how much we charge the member(s)
