Sports Bar at Frenchman’s Creek 2018

Purpose

The purpose of this paper is threefold. First, the manual contains all service standards in detail to ensure quality and consistency in training and execution, not only at the Sports Bar, but for the whole Club seen as one entity. Further, standards and procedures can be looked- up, whenever needed. Second, it serves as a training schedule and training guide involving who is training what, when and how. The training sequence follows the order of chapters in the manual. Third, it lists and assigns all tasks associated with the Sports Bar as a Food and Beverage Operation. The allocation of the listed tasks creates accountability and responsibility amongst the team. Furthermore, it helps new team members to address challenges more effectively. Sports Bar Overview

The Sports Bar is located outside the Main Dining Room. Enjoy drinks in the afternoon, wine and dine in the evening, watch your favorite sport event on one of our 26 TV’s and join us for a craft cocktail or beer.

 Hours of operation: daily 11:30am – 10:00pm Average cover per night: 100 Cover record: 317

 To offer all year around outside seating, the facility is equipped with fans, misters, heaters, sun screens and a roof that opens and closes automatically and can adapt to every weather condition  Tuesday – In the Mix: Every other Tuesday from 4pm – 6pm we feature “In the Mix”, two interactive hours for our members dedicated to mixology and the arts of craft cocktails, e.g. battle of the bartenders, celebrity bartenders or a soiree devoted to one particular drink and its variations  Wednesday – Wine Down Wednesday: The wine down Wednesday is an invitation to come in and relax to live music, after dinner drinks and a flambé dessert station from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.  Friday - The Cigar Club: A get together of cigar aficionados and drink connoisseur, is held every Friday on the SB Patio close to the living room

 On Sundays, the Sports Bar is part of the MDR Brunch and Barbeque
