SOCIAL MEDIA One of the most popular outlets for communication and marketing among today’s generation of college students is through social me- dia. Many of the people in this demographic spend multiple hours a day browsing, commenting, and sharing content across multiple platforms. Nowhere is this more evident than through our day to day interacti- ons with followers on the many social media channels for the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. Daily, we are tagged in content from the anglers, as well as receive direct messages re- garding items such as tournament information and discount codes. College anglers are constantly in search of fresh, interesting con- tent, and social media provides an avenue through which to engage them.
