As brotherhood is one of the main ob– jecti ves of Lambda Chi , we plan numero us ac ti viti es to promote the development of close bonds within our fraternity. One of the mos t notabl e acti vities is our biannual camping trip. During thi s trip members participate in numer– ous adventures in cluding: foo tball, horses hoes, off-roading. whiffl e ball. s· mores roas ting, and a large group sing-a-l ong. Another fo nd ac ti v– ity enj oyed by the bro thers and their lady– fri ends is our annual fo rmal trip to Las Vegas. Ac ti vities here include: the hundred meter back– stro ke, Rubber DuckOl ympi cs, as well as other tomfoo lery, shenani gans, and bally hoo! The di v rsity that ex ists within our fra ternity. paired with the guidance of Advisor Ken Greenman. trul y strengthens our chapter.

Lambda Chi Alpha is based upon bro th– erhood, se rvice, and communit y. Over th e pas t year, we have demonstrated thi s to the entire USO popul ati on th ro ugh our in vo lvement in numerous on-campu s ac ti viti es including: Ori – entati on Wee k, the Vi sta, the Inter-Fra ternity Coun cil. and Spec ial Olympi cs . Thi s rail we won the Dean· s Trophy for the seventh yea r in a row ! Bes ides our in vo lvement in campu s organi za ti ons_ we -also stri ve to help the greater Sa n Di ego area. Las t year we were recogni zed by the San Diego Women's BEAN proj ect , a shelter for battered and abused women. Th rough our phil anthropy wee k_we helped to raise ove r twe lve thousand doll ars fo r the projec t. That is the larges t donati on they have eve r rece ived'
