Sigma Phi Epsilon certainly started the year off with a successful first semester. During our annual fall rush, we got a group of promising new mem– bers to strengthen our ever-growing brotherhood. Throughout the year, we held a handful of fun and interesting events. In terms of our wo_rk with the community, we participated in the 'Thanksgiving House" project and worked to restore the home of an elderly woman. It felt good to get out and put some time forth for the sake of our San Diego community. Dur-

ing the first semester we also had a car wash that served as a successful fund– raising event. We also went on a retreat to Oco– tillo Wells, which helped to strengthen our bond as brothers. In add iti on to these events we also participated in exchanges with the different sororities on campus. Exchanges are always a good time be– cause of the great sororities that we have at USO. All in all, the members of Sigma Phi Epsilon had a fun and successful year!
