City Breaks in Spain

SEVILLE, CITY OF LIGHT

The evening is perfect for a walk through the San Luis neighbourhood as far as the Basilica of La Macarena and its Museum, one of the city's most important centres of religious devotion, especially at Easter when the Nazarenes take out their images for the procession. Dine in the area around the Metropol Parasol , a wooden structure which the people of Seville have named as “The Mushrooms”. This avant-garde creation was designed by the architect Jürgen Mayer, and claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. From the viewing platform you get sensational views over the city.
