REMOVING THE FIXTURE-MOUNT 1 Disengage the driver • After placing the implant, disengage the hand or contra angle implant driver tool from the implant and fixture mount by pulling off the tool in a straight upward direction. 2 Remove the fixture mount • Using the offset wrench to prevent the fixture-mount from turning, remove the retaining screw from the top of the fixture-mount using the 1.25mm hand driver . This will allow you to remove the fixture-mount from the implant. 3 Position the implant • With the fixture-mount removed, the implant can, if desired, be repositioned by inserting the 2.5mm ratchet or contra angle hex driver directly into the implant. • Once the implant has been positioned appropriately, a prosthetic attachment and retaining screw can be placed with the 1.25mm hex driver. 4 Optional If desired, the removed fixture-mount can serve as: • an open tray impression coping . • a temporary abutment .
