Tubular products distributor opens Tulsa facility

Eisenbrandt, who is district manager of Marmon/Keystone’s Denver and Kansas City branches and is also overseeing the Tulsa operation, commented, “Our presence in central Oklahoma allows us to best serve our existing customer base, while affording us growth opportunities in our target markets.” Late last year the company’s Chicago sales and administrative staff relocated to a new office building in a state-of- the-art facility just four miles from their previous location. The transition of approximately 50 employees was completed over one weekend without any disruption in customer service. The new location, which opened for business on 1 February 2012, is conveniently situated near the Tulsa International Airport and Interstate 44, and will service customers throughout Oklahoma, Southeast Kansas, Southwest Missouri and West Central Arkansas. A full range of carbon, stainless steel and aluminium tubular products are being offered along with stainless bar. The Tulsa service centre is staffed by five employees conducting warehousing functions along with two contract drivers. Equipment includes four cranes, two saws with 12" and 22" cutting capabilities, two tractor trailers and a variety of handling equipment.
