NOTEWORTHY: Last season was the recipient of the team's Miller Lite Student Athlete of the Year award. He ranked 27th in the nation in 3-point percentage (.420), converting 79 of 188 attempts. In West Coast Conference play he upped that mark to 49.4 percent, making 39 of 79. 2003-04 AT USO: This past season appeared in all 30 games with 12 starts. He started the season's first nine games, then started coming off the bench where he provided instant offense with his outside shooting. He reached double-digit scoring in 17 games with a season-best 23 points against Southwest Missouri -------------------– State (7-for-11 three-point shooting).

He also notched 22 points against Gonzaga, and 20 points twice (Southern Methodist & Saint Mary's College). For the season he converted 79-188 three pointers and 35-of-48 free throws (.729). Besides his 7 made three– pointers against Southwest Missouri State, Brett also canned 6 treys against the SMU Mustangs and Gonzaga Bulldogs. 2002-03 AT USD: Sat out after transferring from the University of Il– linois. COLLEGE: Played two years at Illinois (2000-02) with team going a combined 53-17, winning two Big Ten Championships, and reaching the Elite 8 ('00-01) and Sweet Sixteen ('01 -02) ... sophomore season appeared in 7 contests, making 4-of-8 treys and 5-of-11 shots ... freshman year saw action in 18 games ... scored 8 points against Kansas State ... scored 7 points in win over Michigan.
