Wendy McReynolds, Assistant AD for Marketing & Promotions Wendy McReynolds begins her second year at USD as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Promotions. Wendy came to USD from Virgina Tech where she held the title of Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions since 2001. Prior to that she was the assistant for one year beginning in 2000.

Erin Sheehan, Assistant Director of Athletic Development Erin Sheehan enters her second year at USD in the position of Assistant Director of Development for Athletics. She oversees the annual athletic giving program and helps organize all athletic fund raising events and booster clubs for the department. Prior toUSD she gained a wealth ofexperience in this area with positions as the Development Officer for the San Diego Symphony; as Publishing Product Manager

Prior to her appointment at Virginia Tech she also gained experience at the University of Maryland where she was Assistant Director of Sport Marketing for two years, at Wichita State for two years as the Assistant for Sports Marketing & Promotions, and at the University of Florida Athletic Association as a Marketing Assistant. She earned her B.S. degree in Sport Management from Guilford College in 1994 and her M.S. degree in Sport Management from West Virginia in 1996. Andy Fee, Assistant AD for Athletic Facilities & O'ferations Andy Fee is in his thir year at USD, and his second in the position of Assistant Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations. Fee assists John Martin in overseeing all the scheduling, field maintenance and purchasing for the department's athletic venues. He also is the sport superviser for men's & women's cross country, along with men's golf. Fee came to USD from Arizona State University where he was Assistant Director of Facility Operations for Athletics the past two seasons. Before that he was Facility Supervisor for the ASU Student Recreation Complex. Besides his work at ASU, he developed Athletics and Manage– ment skills with the NFL Cardinals, Fiesta Bowl and PGA Phoenix Open. From Scottsdale, Arizona, he earned his B .A. in Political Science with a minor in History in 1996 from Arizona State University. Andy and his wife, Nicole, reside in San Diego. Dean Aresco Strength & Conditioning Coach DeanAresco is in his fourth season as USD's Strength and Conditioning Coach. He came to USD via Towson State University where he was their head coach for three seasons. Additional professionalexperiences includestints at the University ofConnecticut as aGraduateAssistant, and at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in San Diego as the Interim Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Heeamedhis B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1995 from the University of Connecticut, and recently completed his M.A. degree there in the same field. A NSCACertified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he also is certified through USA weight lifting. Additionally, he holds memberships with NSCA, the U.S. Weightlifting Federation, and the American College of Sports Medicine. enter his first full season in the position ofAssistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and Director of the McNamara Fitness Center. He came to USD in 2002 but took over these duties full-time this past February. I.iii._______. He came to USD via Towson State University where he was a tight end on the football team for two years and earned a B.S. degree in 2002 in Sports Management. Prior to Towson he played two years of football at Millersville in Pennsylvania. From Camp Hill, Pennsylvania he graduated from high school in 1998 after earning letters in three sports - football, basketball and baseball. This Fall he'll begin a Master's Program in Excercise Science through the University of Texas-El Paso. Hans Straub, Director ofMcNamara Fitness Center/Asst. S&C Coach Hans Straub is in his third year at USD but

for Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. in San Diego; as Development Relations Manager for the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon; and as Special Events Program Coordinator for the Office of Development at the University of Oregon. She received her M.A. in Arts & Administration (emphasis in Management and Marketing) from the U. of Oregon in 1998. She received her B.F.A. in Graphic Design, with a minor in Marketing, from Miami Univ. in Oxford, Ohio in 1994. Erin and her husband, Brian, reside in Chula Vista. Josh Lawrence Director ofJenny Craig Pavilion Josh Lawrence begins his second year as the Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion. He came to USD after 7 years at UC San Diego, where his re– sponsibilities included managing the RIMACArena. Josh 's duties included coordinating all events, from 1,,:;;__;;::::;;;;;__ ;;;:,a athletic competition to the presentation of concerts and special events, as well as maintenance throughout the Sports Facilities at UCSD. Here at USD, Josh's responsibilities will include scheduling, staffing and all management aspects of the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In this capacity he will manage the daily operations of the facility, including event management and marketing of the Pavilion. Josh received his B.S. from UC San Diego in 1993 with a double major in Political Science and U.S. History. Josh and his wife, Lisa, were married this past summer. Derek Hillestad JCP Asst. Director/Events Manager Derek Hillestad begins his third year as Assis– tant Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion and Events Manager. He came to USD from Ball State University job related experience as an Event Operations Supervisor for Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin; as a Program Assistant for the Department of Recreational Sports atTexasA&M; and as Event Co-Coordinatorfor the Depart– ment of Recreation Management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He graduated from Wisconsin-La Crosse with a B.S. in Recreation Management (2000), and received his M.S. in Athletic Administration from Ball State University in July of 2002. Nick Mirkovich begins his fourth season as the Asst. Dir. of Media Relations where he oversees a number ofUSD's athletic programs. His duties include coordinating radio and TV productions, producing media guides, press releases, brochures and game pro– grams. Nick played a key role in the design of USD's athletic website. He handles the play-by-play webcast announcing for a majority of baseball's road games. In May of 2000 he received a B.A. in Business Management from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. His professional experience includes working with three different professional football organizations and three col– legiate media relations departments. Nick was hired by the NFL's league office in New York to serve as the primary Media Relations contact for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe in 2001 after interning with the New England Patriots in 2000. Nick Mirkovich, Assistant Director ofMedia Relations where he was a Graduate Assistant for Sports Facili– ties and Recreation Programs in 2001-02. During this time he was also a Security Control Supervisor for the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also earned
