The valve is available in sizes ranging from 2" to 12", has a shell service pressure of up to 24 bar and can withstand temperatures up to 850°C.

Pipeline and heating distributor BSS Industrial has announced a new addition to its Boss brand, with the launch of the 10XS Wafer Check Valve. The Boss 10XS Wafer Check Valve is specifically designed for heating and cooling systems, as well as the transfer of potable water in industrial applications. The new valve features a stainless steel disc and is Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) approved. Ed Kendall, product group manager for BSS Industrial, said, “We constantly strive to develop new products which meet the high standards of our customers. “The Boss 10XS Wafer Check Valve is part of our work to continually develop the highly regarded Boss range which is widely recognised for its quality.”

The valve will be stocked centrally at BSS Industrial’s Magna Park distribution centre.

New video demonstrates fibreglass liners

with details on proper installation of the liner and why it is critical for success in the field. The video can be viewed at: www. d u o l i n e . c o m / c o n t e n t g a t h e r . cfm?navid=23&sublinkid=86 Duoline-20 and D-350, manufactured by Duoline Technologies, is a filament- wound fibreglass-reinforced epoxy liner that reliably beats corrosion. Since 1964 more than 100 million feet have been successfully installed worldwide as a robust alternative to plastic coatings, and as a high-performance, high-value, cost-effective alternative to corrosion resistant alloys. Duoline is suited to diverse applications such offshore platforms, onshore work- over rigs, sour gas service, oil and gas producing wells, waterflood injection wells, brinewater/chemical disposal wells, CO 2 injection wells and saltwater disposal systems.

Fibreglass internal lining systems company Duoline Technologies has produced a new video that demonstrates how the life of oilfield tubulars can be extended in corrosive environments. By watching this in-depth video, created from a combination of video and 3D animation, oilfield personnel will learn how Duoline ® fibreglass liners are used in corrosive environments such as saltwater, gas injection, oil production, flow lines and saltwater disposal wells. In addition, completion engineers will understand how Duoline liners protect tubulars from common corrosion constituents like CO 2 , H 2 S, HCL, saltwater brine and sulphate reducing bacteria (SRB). Duoline’s manufacturing process cures the fibreglass liners from the inside out, assuring holiday-free consistency. The video explains how Duoline liners work well with both premium and API connections. Viewers will be introduced to Duoline’s newest liner, the D-350, used for high temperature applications up to 177°C (350°F). The video concludes
