Successful completion of this course will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to demonstrate to employers your potential as a clear thinking, analytical individual with a good grasp of current business challenges and opportunities. You can use the HND Business as a stepping stone to progress and top-up your qualification to a full BA (Hons) Business Administration and Management at University Centre St Helens.

Core units include:

During the first year you will develop core study skills, boosting your employability. You will study the general global business environment and be introduced to the fundamentals of business. Other modules examine the world of work, how the business environment, including economics, influences business, the essentials of marketing and an introduction to people and organisations. At this level, you are expected to be able to describe and structure business problems.
