CIH student membership allows students to access up-to-date information and advice on policy issues and best practice and to boost professional skills. You will study through lectures, workshops, seminars, self- directed study, written work, presentations, group work and guest lectures. The second year work-based learning module will provide a professional setting in which you can apply the knowledge and skills you have acquired from the course. In addition to classroom-based study, you will also have the opportunity to observe social policies in practice by visiting local authorities, housing associations and social welfare agencies.
