The focus is to determine how knowledge gained about individual and group behavior and organiza- tion design impacts organizational effectiveness. Job satisfaction is tightly coupled with social relationships among co-workers and supervisors and is also explored during the course. Topics examined include motivation, leadership, interpersonal communication, group structure and processes, personality, emotions, and values, conflict and negotiation, organizational change, and work design.
