• The higher the number, the brighter the paper— resulting in bolder images and brilliant colors • Brightness levels usually range from 92-100 • The heavier the weight, the sturdier the paper— for report covers, menus & documents that really matter • Heavier weights minimize show through— great for double-sided printing • Common paper weights are 20, 24 and 28 lb. Understanding paper brightness and weight/thickness These features will affect how your prints will look and feel. Decide on the type Depending on the project you're working on and the machine you're using, there are a variety of paper options to choose from.
