Steph, Learner (ESB Oral Skills for Interviews) "My ESB course built my confidence and helped me understand how to present myself professionally. I left school just after completing it and went onto an apprenticeship. What I learnt helped me at the interview and gave me the skills to get the job. I'm now interning for an interpersonal skills training provider in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. We're working on culturalising the curriculum for disadvantaged communities there. I’m confident that my ESB qualification will continue to help me as it has provided me with many useful communication skills essential for all career paths as well as in my day to day life." “One of our current funded projects in partnership with Next Steps South West, based at Plymouth University, is working in schools across the South West of England. This project aims to improve social mobility, by raising aspirations in young people through the power of confident and positive oracy skills. Articulacy is one of the main partners in this project, delivering workshops that culminate in an ESB qualification. Gaining an ESB qualification is a great source of pride to the students we work with. It gives them a tangible short-term goal, whilst arming them with skills that they will continue to use for a lifetime." At Articulacy, we wanted to equip people with great oracy skills allowing them to communicate, both professionally and personally, with confidence.  ESB has proved the ideal match for us in this respect because the awarding body has more than 65 years of experience in providing high-quality qualifications in oracy for all abilities.
