Can you remember when our transportation to the mainland consisted of two19ft Green Colored Finn Runners with 75hp Chrysler Out Boards? "Fin Runner" was the real name of the boats & they were built by Chrysler. They were purchased by the 1969 CYC Transportation Director through Jim Riehl Senior's Chrysler dealership. Fin 1 replaced one of the Finn Runners in 1978 and Fin 2 came later and was followed by Fin 3. Now you know why we call them our "Fin Runners" or "Fins" for short.
