Specialist First Aid Courses Sports First Aid Injuries in sport are commonplace and initial treatment can make a lot of difference in recovery time. This one-day course focuses on the necessary first aid skills to deal with a wide range of sporting incidents. Course duration One day (6 hours) Certification Candidates receive a St John Ambulance (NI) certificate of competence, valid for three years. Road Users’ First Aid Developed primarily for professional drivers of large goods vehicles and passenger carrying vehicles, this course is suitable for all road users. It gives candidates the confidence and skills required to deal with situations prior to the arrival of the emergency services. Course duration One day (6 hours) Certification Candidates receive a St John Ambulance (NI) certificate of competence valid for three years.
