Giesinger Grünspitz Umweltschutz für München

Seit 1990 ist der Green City e.V. als Umwelt- organisation für ein grüneres München aktiv. Mitten im Herzen des Stadtteils Giesing entstand im Auftrag der »Sozialen Stadt Giesing« der Giesinger Grünspitz, eine 2.000 m² große Grün- fläche mit Sitzgelegenheiten, Spielgeräten und Installationen lokaler Künstler. Die Fläche lässt sich für eine Mittagspause mit anschließender Partie Boccia ebenso nutzen wie für einen Som- merabend mit Freunden und Familie. Zudem werden Kulturevents und ein Gemeinschafts- garten für Anwohner geboten. Das alles macht den Giesinger Grünspitz zu einem sozialen Begegnungsraum für die Menschen, die in die- sem Viertel leben und arbeiten. Thanks to a community effort and by order and for account of »Soziale Stadt Giesing«, the Giesinger Grünspitz, a 2,000 sqm green belt with seating areas, playground equipment and works of art by local artists, was created right in the heart of the suburb of Giesing. This green oasis is perfect for your lunch break, for a game of Boccia, or for a summer evening with family and friends. Cultural events also take place here, and there's a com- munity garden for residents. All of this makes the Giesinger Grünspitz into a social hub for those who live and work in the area.
