North Channel Yacht Club General Membership meeting

PC Bill Hendricks presented an update on the island Wi-Fi – download speed, connection, clarification of how Wi-Fi is transmitted on the island, etc. Question and comments : - Burt Skibinski asked for the board to consider reduced work hours for older members. The commodore’s reply is that that process exists today via sending the Board a letter requesting the hour reduction stating the reason. The Board then makes a decision to grant the request or not. - PC Rick Romatz thanked everyone for all their hard work. - PC Harley Burris thanked everyone for the hard work on the bar and getting the island ready. He also announced there are 3 weeks open for week ODs. - Sandi Stroh spoke regarding the Commodore’s Cruise in August. 84 people are committed as of today. There is a meeting tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. in the clubhouse to answer questions. Ladies week begins Sunday, June 12 th . Friends are invited. There is a Yeddi cooler raffle. See Diane Marten for tickets. - PC Don Vanover reminded everyone that $16 is due for the fitting out dinner tonight. If you haven’t paid, see Barb Vanover. - Jill Romatz gave a recap of the winter bowling league and the winners. See Jill to collect your prize money from the season. - Bob Swan reminded everyone that you can buy a paver stone. Applications are available and none have been sold this year.
