What happened to summer? September is here already and the end of the season is approaching rapidly. Don’t worry, there is are still many fun events at the club for you to participate in. September 17 th is the Smoke On the Water, where the Island’s Pitmasters go up against one another in the quest to put their name on the Flying Pig. October 1 st is the annual Pot Luck dinner which this year will embrace the traditional Thanksgiving dinner. The following weekend is Haul Out with the General membership meeting, the election results, and the haul out dinner and party. Please come out and support and enjoy these events. On a more serious side, please take the time to read the bio’s on this year’s candidates. Talk with them and get their position on the issues. Let’s make sure we put the best candidates on the board so it can move the club forward into the future. VC Pat
