Tracking mountain gorillas in the wild is one of the planet’s most awe-inspiring experiences. Our safari brings you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half

chimpanzees as they forage, build nests, call to one another, and scamper across the treetops. Other primates in this green ecosystem include grey-cheeked mangabeys, and vervet, colobus, and red-tailed monkeys. Days 4-6 Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari Queen Elizabeth National Park is a 770-square- mile chunk of the western Great Rift Valley that boasts the stunning backdrop of the snow-capped Ruwenzoris, Africa’s fabled “Mountains of the Moon.” This sublime park teems with wildlife, and we explore savanna grasslands, walk shady trails, go birding in the Maramagambo Forest, and boat on the Kazinga Channel, with its huge hippo population—up to 30,000!
