since 2013. This was before we officially made the announcement that LLR was open for business. Her first experience, she went with myself and Stephanie to pick up Storm from a trainer. Kara was quiet, seemed shy but enjoyed being with us. We had her ride Mouse that night for the first time it was pretty busy in the arena with cows and horses. Kara enjoyed the whole experience. As she gained knowledge and continued t o grow in her horsemanship skills, Kara graduated from Mouse and moved to Storm. Storm is a very well-bred cow horse that requires an experienced rider, she and Kara have formed a great bond. Kara has grown into a wonderful horse woman; She and Storm have had many rides together. Several Clinics, Parades and trail rides. At one-point Kara had a serious knee injury and this altered her life style, not with just her horsemanship activities but with all her sports. I watched her as she struggled through her disappointment. God continually renewed her faith and gave her peace during this time, because of Him, Kara took the hard blows from the doctors and didn’t give up hope, she continued to focus on Jesus and serving him by helping others, in many areas of her life, both church and school. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Life is full of ups and downs, victories and failures. We feel so great when life is going well. Then, we have those moments when we slip, and we find ourselves losing balance. Sometimes we feel on top of the world; then we have those moments when we are just ready to give up. We don’t always feel strong. We need to “Cowboy up” even when we don’t feel we can. It seems like God is with us when things are going well. When things are not going well, and we are at our lowest, God is there with us holding us. His love is unfailing, and it will support us through the darkest of times. Don’t be afraid of your

own doubts. God is big enough to renew your hopes and restore your faith. He walks with us through everything whether our darkest moments or through our greatest moments- He is there. Every day we should thank him, for as many things as we can think of. Thank him for being with us in our sadness and ask him to help us heal and find joy. Ask him to give you hope and take away the worries from your mind and replace it with peace. When you celebrate something good say “Thank You Lord!” to show appreciation for being there always.
