Here at USO, Josh's responsibilities will include scheduling, staffing and all management aspects of the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In this capacity he will manage the daily operations of the facility, including event management and marketing of the Pavilion. Josh received his B.S. from UC San Diego in 1993 with adouble major in Politi– cal Science and U.S. History. Josh and his wife, Lisa, reside in San Diego.

Turley holds a B.S. in the Science of Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise with a Minor in Chemistry from Virginia Tech, a M.Ed. in Educational and Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Sports Psychology from the University of Missouri in addition to certifications by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Associa– tion, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and International Society of Sports Nutrition.

Asst. Dir. ofJenny Craig Pavilion Branda Cook joined the University of San Diego as the Assistant Director of the Jenny Craig Pavilion in May 2006. She works in coordi– nation with the Director of the Pavilion to ensure smooth facility operation with a focus on student employee management and liaison to other USD departments and vendors. Branda began her employment at the Univer– sity of San Diego in 2002 as the Assistant Director

Kathy Marpe is in her first full-time season as the department's Game Operations Manager. She will be responsible for all game-day opera– tions, including supervision of security, parking, visiting teams, game-day staffing, scheduling of officials, and assisting JCP staff with ticketing responsibilities. Last year Kathy worked as a part-time event manager at many USD athletic events. No stranger to the USD Athletic Family, Kathy

was the Torero head women's basketball coach for 25 years until she retired from coaching in the spring of 2005. Atwo-time WCC Coach of the Year, Marpe won two West Coast Conference tournament titles (1993, 2000) with the team advancing to the NCAA's both seasons. She totaled 294 USD victories and 381 career collegiate wins.

Robyn Fortney begins her second year as the Coordinator of Athletic Student Services for USD. She coordinates the CHAMPS/Life Skills program which promotes the personal develop– ment of student-athletes. Also, she is an Aca– demic Counselor to Football, Women's Rowing and Men's Rowing. From nearbyRancho Bernardo, Fortney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications,

She serves as the academic advisor for all sports except Football and Rowing. Her responsibili– ties includethe supervision of the Study Hall and the administration of the tutoring and mentoring programs. Currently, the Academic Support Pro- gram employs over 25 tutors who represent a variety of majors across campus, as well as over 12 mentors who are graduate students pursuing their masters degrees in USD's Counseling Program. Sarabeth graduated from USD in 2002 in the Honors Program, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. She speaks Spanish and French fluently. A5th generation San Diegan, she resides in Point Loma with her family. In her spare time, Sarabeth enjoys working on her novel that she hopes to have pub– lished by the end of the year.
