EASTERN MONTGOMERY SMART START BASKETBALL – $35 The Right Start… Start Smart Programs, created by the National Alliance for Youth Sports, help kids get ready for sports and succeed in life. It is an innovative step-by-step approach that builds confidence and self-esteem in a fun and safe sports environment. Our camps introduce children (boys and girls, Pre-K through 1 st Grade, 4-6 yrs.) to the basics of a particular sport in a fun, learning, non-competitive environment. Start Smart is designed for the child and adult to participate together. Basketball focuses on teaching dribbling, passing, shooting and running/agility. All equipment needed is provided at the class. Registration begins on Wed., Sep. 5 and runs through Fri., Nov. 9 (in-person) and Sun., Nov. 11 (online). Dates & Times TBA. EASTERN MONTGOMERY REC BASKETBALL – $50 Rec Basketball emphasizes fundamental skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and positive adult participation with the goal of providing a fun and rewarding basketball experience where young players create a bond with the game. Leagues are based on participant’s grade entering the 2018-2019 school year. Registration begins on Wed., Sep. 5 and runs through Fri., Nov. 9 (in-person) and Sun., Nov. 11 (online). PLEASE REGISTER ON TIME!
