ALUMNI PROFILE

THE VALENTINE 3 Brothers Joel and Sam Valentine studied Level 3 Music at Knowsley Community College while recording and performing with their brother Reuben. Known as The Valentine 3, the band toured secondary schools before playing The O2 Academy, performing alongside Billy Ocean and making an appearance on The One Show. Knowsley Community College honoured the brothers with a Pride of Knowsley award before leaving. They continue to create music both as solo artists and as a band.

REAL CAREERS

MUSIC THERAPIST Role: Use musical composition and sound to improve human wellbeing and aid in building confidence for those with learning difficulties, mental health problems and more. Salary: £26,000 - £48,000

LIVE SOUND ENGINEER Role: Manage audio control for events such as concerts and theatre shows, mixing audio and operating equipment. Salary: £25,000 - £40,000
