Orders continue to flow in for Mary’s Pussyhats4Rehab; among them Old Girls such as Maxine Nugent Dabbagh in Dubai and Bianca Morandi in Milan. A massive chorus of pink hat-clad gals was also a highlight for Karen Williams , who describes her

participation in the 2016 Women’s March in Washington D.C., “without a doubt one of my most powerful experiences this past year. Gals of all ages, colours, races and religions peacefully united to advocate for values that I hold near and dear. This is what democracy looks like.” Amen.

CLASS OF 1984 BURSARY TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2017

CLASS REPS: Mary McDerment Wellner, Linda Oland and Melinda Taylor 33 years on, here we are! So great to hear from so many of the Class of 1984! Fahmida Bhabha continues to run her own Pilates studio and is becoming a dream coach. Susan Blair Spratley and her husband have been enjoying some travel time. Their eldest son graduated from zoology and their youngest is in fine arts. Sandra (Sandy) Buik is a V-P of HR in the Toronto tech community. She volunteers at the Arthritis Society, cycles and takes ballet at the National Ballet School! Susan Carter Smith ’s daughter will be part of the Havergal Class of 2017 and is heading to Dalhousie next year. Helene Clarkson is opening a pop-up store in the Royal York – she has clients all over the world for her travel clothing line. Daughter Eliza is at Queen’s and her two sons are soccer crazy! MaryAnn Curtis retired from IBM and is doing project manager work from home. Her stepdaughter is expecting a baby and MaryAnn can’t wait to welcome the next generation. Jennifer Dolman rubbed elbows with royalty this year, attending one of the Queen’s garden parties and bumping into Pippa Middleton’s fiancé in Mustique. Barbara Fallon was awarded a Canada Research Chair in Child Welfare at U of T, a national honour to help further her research to provide the best care possible for children. Delia Grenville works at Intel and lives in Portland, where her daughter Aislyn is a freshman and her son Jason is in French immersion and learning German. Delia is taking German lessons to keep up. Cynthia (Cindy) Hayhurst moved to Collingwood with Scott and their

three boys and is busy renovating an 1893 house. Their boat business has grown all over North America. Anne Hubbs lives in Alberta and works for fish and wildlife catching and collaring cougars! She enjoyed great visits with Carol Mordy Saldanha last year. Rosemary Leslie is enjoying Ottawa during Canada’s 150th celebrations and enjoying her stepdaughter living with them. Graydon Moffat is launching Clinical Luxury in the U.K., where she will be spending lots of time next year. She is looking forward to sharing “a cuppa” with Aimee Hampson in London. Sheena Robertson teaches at U of T and at Artistic Directing Kick Start Arts. She has launched a web series with kids from Regent Park. Alexandra (Alex) Shandling has a new baby ‒ a blonde golden retriever named Daisy. It is making for some sleepless nights in Hudson, Quebec! To quote Nicola (Nicky) von Schroeter , “on and off working sucks as a mom with three kids in their prime, so I am out of the workforce for at least 2017!” Tara Shields Steele is organizing the Kids’ Lit Quiz Canada, helping children to become lifelong readers. Liz White Fedryk works at RBC Insurance, plays squash and sails their new boat with her husband Mike. Her elder son Kevin is in engineering and Jeremy is in Grade 11. Sheila Wilson is teaching again and loving it! Her daughter will graduate from Havergal this year and her son is in Grade 9. Alison Kerbel Zuckerman ’s third child will finish university this year and all three will be out in the world –
