CLASS OF 1995 ENDOWMENT TOTAL AS AT MAY 31, 2017

CLASS REPS: Deirdre Horgan MacLeod, Catherine Nicholson and Lisa Rossiter-Thornton Out West, Sonja Mathes Childs and her husband welcomed their third child in April. She hopes to return to her orthopedic practice in October. Rosalind Lates Cox lives in Clovis, California with her two beautiful girls and supportive husband. She is the director of facilities planning and construction for a school district, working hard to build and modernize schools. Lee-Ann James Webster lives in Calgary, continues working with Canada Revenue Agency and loves being a mom. Farrah Faisal recently visited Lee-Ann and they had a great time! Still in London, Naomi Weisenthal and her husband Rob and stepkids Morgan and Cooper welcomed twin girls, Ava Lee and Ella Grace. Here in Toronto, Lisa Rossiter-Thornton continues to teach French Immersion with the TDSB. She and Rachel Deblois 1992 were both presenters at the OMLTA fall conference. Jennifer (Jen) Kishner James works with her husband Courtney. They recently re-branded their company ‒ Admit One Productions ‒ with great success. Jennifer is also a certified CCF coach and yoga instructor. Rachel Hands Stephens , after her daughter Marayna Cathryn was stillborn, welcomed Kayla Danielle in August. Gabriel and Miriam, the twins, are now attending kindergarten. Brenda Ha and her husband Kamal, along with kids Jai and Mya, have just undergone a home renovation and are loving their new space! Her son Jai looks forward to attending UCC in the fall. Shilpa Barcha married Rishi Gautam; Sonja Mathes Childs , Stephanie Chan , Nairi Ajamian Kerjikian and Gladys Chan attended the wedding. They welcomed their first child Meera in June. AnneMarie Gerber works now at Maple Leaf Foods as the director of public relations. She enjoys working with such an exciting and progressive company. Her daughter Clare is 2 and she surprises them every day with a new song or skill!

A little farther east, Sheetal Lohdia works at a research institute at McGill University in Montreal. She loves the readily available pastries, snow and mountain walks and looks forward to where the road will lead next. Andrea Mrozek continues to work and live with her husband in Ottawa. She works as program director of Cardus Family. Catherine Nicholson and her family were able to catch up with Andrea and her husband when they visited Ottawa over March break. Kate Bassil continues to enjoy her work in health policy at Toronto Public Health. South of the border, Mara Abols welcomed a little boy named Rivington Perry Boyd. She works as an attorney at White & Case LLP in New York and lives in Brooklyn. Juliana Tissot Vivas moved from Monterrey, Mexico to Dallas, Texas. She recently had a delightful time connecting with Old Girls in Mexico City. On the islands, Jacqueline (Jacqui) Bothwell- Fernandes and her husband are busy with their two boys, playing tennis, “futball” and general fun in the sun in the Cayman Islands. They run a busy chiropractic and physiotherapy health clinic and property management business. Kendra Dawson Doersam continues to enjoy a much slower pace in beautiful Costa Rica with her husband Ryan, kids Harrison 8, Evelyn 6 and Georgia 4. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their fourth baby later this fall. Kendra continues to run her business, nosweatlife, remotely.
