T he Professional Develop- ment department continues to grow stronger, as we re- cently welcomed our two newest team members, Cindy Gomez, national cer- tification administrator, and Jessalyn Halbritter, professional development specialist. Cindy oversees the certi- fication program at ACA. Jessalyn engages in training and workshops, as well as partners with e-learning and certification. We are very excited to have the ladies join the team, and we look forward to providing the best service for all of those who wish to grow professionally.

Conference workshops Congratulations to all of those who submitted workshops for presentation at the 149 th Congress of Correction in Boston this August! For those who did not submit proposals or whose work- shops were not accepted this time, please visit our website at www.aca.org and check out the Professional Development tab; there you will find all of the necessary information to submit a workshop for the upcoming Winter Conference in San Diego, California.
