Grand Marnier orange flavored liqueur • 4 tsp. local Arkansas honey • 4 fresh Arkansas strawberries • (1) 750 ml bottle Chandon Brut Rosé, well chilled DIRECTIONS At least an hour before, place 4 Champagne flutes in the freezer. Add the Grand Marnier, honey and strawberries to a food processor and process until smooth. Fill the chilled glasses halfway with the strawberry mixture and then fill the rest of the glass with the Chandon Brut Rosé. Tip: You may not need all the Champagne. Reserve it by using an inexpensive Champagne bottle corker available at Colonial.

The nose is mentholated juniper, pineapple sage, lemon verbena, lavender, rose, hibiscus and lime. This encyclopedic list merely reflects how incredibly complex and brightly aromatic this gin is. Your mileage might vary. There’s a lot in here, and I’m not sure any experts are going to agree on the exact list you get here on the nose. COLIN OBAN LITTLE BAY SINGLE MALT SCOTCH Rated 92 Points Whiskey Advocate Dark amber in color, Oban Little Bay has a rich and vibrant malty nose with dried apple, dried plums, caramel, honey, allspice, and oak. The entry is very flavorful and expressive, matching the nose quite well with toasted malt, green apple, dried apricot, salt, chocolate, and orange peel. In the midpalate the real impact of the small cask finish is quite apparent as the spice elements noticeably increase with clove and oak without abandoning the sweet dried fruit underneath. SPARKLING STRAWBERRY MOJITO • 1 cup diced strawberries + 4 extra strawberries for garnish • 2-14 mint leaves + extra for garnish • 4 tsp. superfine sugar or simple syrup DIRECTIONS In a large rocks glass, add ½ of the diced strawberries, half of the mint leaves, sugar and lime juice. Muddle the strawberries and mint and other ingredients to meld the oils and flavors together. Yields 4

Stir in 2 oz. of rum. Divide this mixture between two of the Champagne flutes. Repeat these steps for the second half of the recipe. Top off the four flutes with the Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine. Garnish with strawberries and fresh mint leaves.

• 2 oz Barr Hill Gin • ¾ oz lime juice • ¼ oz simple syrup • 4-5 fresh basil leaves • 3-4 fresh blackberries DIRECTIONS Place the basil leaves and blackberries in a cocktail shaker and using a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, smash the blackberries gently. Fill the shaker with ice and top with the lime juice, simple syrup and gin. Shake to chill and double strain into a coup. Garnish with berry and basil leaf.
