Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen. Eternal God, Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in you as my God and my Savior. You have granted me eternal life in his name, and desire that I now live the Christian life as he did, remaining faithful and true to you to your Gospel and commandments. Grant to me the grace and help that only your Holy Spirit can provide, that through your Word, through prayer, through fellowship with other disciples in worship and the Lord’s Supper, and by clinging to you I may I come to live more fully in the life you have given me. Help me to never give up, to always pray and rely on your strength, and to pursue your will with my whole heart, in order that you might be glorified, and your Kingdom come where I live and work.
