On July 30,2020, MSAD #6 held its District Budget Meeting at Bonny Eagle High School gym with the Budget Validation Referendum Election being held on August 11, 2020. On August 19, 2020, a Special Town Meeting was held to see if the Town of Buxton employees would vote to join the Maine Public Employees Retirement System effective September 1, 2020. There were 54 votes in favor and 0 opposed. The November 3, 2020 election had outstanding numbers even though a virus was happening during this time. There were 3,601 absentee ballots and 1,743 in person ballots for a total of 5,344 ballots cast resulting in a 79.68% voter turnout. Great Job!!! MSAD#6 held its District Budget Meeting on May 27, 2021 and the Town had 12 voters present to help vote it in.
