- The only difference when using Carrez treatment is the extract is clear otherwise it is cloudy. The time of SPE cleaning is the same with or without Carrez, from an operative point of view the Carrez treatment is not time consuming. - We would like to highlight that for the SPE step, as per the AOAC method, it should be performed under gravity, but it is not possible, as the solution will not elute. For this step, we used the aid of vacuum.

- We had to perform SPE under some vacuum because no elution took place under gravity. However, we made sure to have a slow flow.

- We are not entirely sure about the purpose of doing quadratic curves when our curves are very linear. - For Day 1 results, I used the pump for assisting SPE because the timing is quite tight. On Day 2, the SPE was performed under pure gravity. It took around 5 hours.
