Recommendation

The performance of the method largely meets the requirements of the SMPR and has 11 demonstrated excellent resilience to adaptations made by the MLT participants. In addition, 12 satisfactory accuracy was also demonstrated by good agreement of results on SRM sample with 13 available reference value. First Action Official Method 2016.14 has thus demonstrated to be fit for 14 purpose in determining fructans in infant formula and adult/pediatric nutritional formula. 15
