Features of the Clip

JAW PROFILE

The rounded, pyramid like structure is stamped into the jaw through a special production step that eliminates sharp inner edge s.

A dditional rounding of structures that border the clip 's outer sides, creates a smooth surface that results in a thorough a traumatic application . Incr e ased surface area is created by the pyramid-like design of the jaws inner surface with it's cro s s-like structure that doubles the tissue-holding area.

A pplied pressure is distribute d evenly over the length of the jaw.

The convex design of the C lip provides for a secure and atraumatic closure of the aneurysm.

Sliding of the clip is prevented.

SPRING DESIGN

The spring size, w hi ch is different in the Standard and Mini C lips, is uniform by Clip type . Aneurysm Clips are securely placed with the use of our specially designed A pplier s.

LINK DESIGN

Laser welded .

The link ensures the precise guidance of the jaws and a “soft” ope- ning of the clip during the whole spreading process.

The contact surface of the jaws are guided symmetrically in an exact way “over the entire jaw leng th ” . T his guarantees the a d ditional stability of the clip. O ver-stress of the material is not possible due to the design of the link which limits the maximum opening width.
