“It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. Fo r i f t ho s e who l i v e by l aw ar e he i r s , f a i t h has no va l ue and t he pr omi s e i s wo r t h l e s s , because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore, t he pr omi s e c ome s by f a i t h , so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring − not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: ‘I have made you a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who g i v e s l i f e t o t he dead and c a l l s t h i ng s t ha t ar e no t as t hough t he y we r e . Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’” (Romans 4: 13-18) “The law eventually separates those who affirm the truth and those who remain in the lie, as being deceived. However, There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ [anointed one] Jesus, because through Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
