4. FUTURE PROGRAMME. The programme at present in hand is a heavy one and the Commission has not yet considered new subjects for future work. However, it will try to start work as soon as possible on problems concerning the execution of welded construc– tions, these problems constituting an important part of its terms of reference as originally drawn up. In addition to its present activity, the Commission also intends to deal soon with the preparation of recommendations for the use of draughtsmen responsible for preparing designs for resistance welded constructions; it will also deal with problems connected with the welding of round reinforcing bars for constructions in reinforced concrete.
