Dear Bridgeway Friends and Partners,

It continues to be a privilege to serve as Chair of Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services’ Board of Trustees and to work alongside an extraordinary team of professionals whose compassion, integrity and dedication help individuals and families navigate challenging times, pursue recovery and build fulfilling lives. As we gather for our 2026 Chairperson’s Dinner, Give Hope

a Home: A Legacy of Impact. A Future of Recovery, I am reminded that behind every program, every partnership and every achievement is an opportunity to change a life. That is what makes Bridgeway so extraordinary. Our Center for Integrated Outpatient Services in Elizabeth represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to expanding access to care and helping more individuals find hope, stability and the support to thrive in their communities. Tonight, we are proud to recognize the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, the City of Summit and the Summit Police Department for their meaningful contributions and their shared commitment to making a difference. Thank you for believing in Bridgeway and in the individuals and families whose lives we touch. Together, we are carrying forward Bridgeway’s legacy of service and strengthening the communities we serve, one person at a time. With Deep Gratitude,

Marlene G. Baldinger, RN, ARM, CPHQ, CPHRM, CPASRM Board Chair and Event Chair Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services

Dear Friends,

Every day at Bridgeway, I see what hope looks like. It is someone finding a safe place to live, returning to work, receiving help during a crisis or discovering that recovery is possible.

For nearly six decades, Bridgeway has stood alongside individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult challenges. From crisis intervention and outpatient treatment to housing support, employment services and community outreach, our work is about helping people build meaningful, independent lives. None of this happens without extraordinary people. I am deeply grateful to our dedicated staff, whose compassion and commitment bring our mission to life every day, and to our Board of Trustees for their leadership and steadfast belief in Bridgeway’s future. To everyone joining us tonight, thank you. Whether you purchased a ticket, sponsored the event, placed an ad, donated a raffle prize or contributed, your generosity makes a difference. Your friendship, advocacy and belief in our mission mean more than you know. As we prepare to open our Center for Integrated Outpatient Services, your support is helping us build on our legacy and expand opportunities for recovery. Thank you for standing with Bridgeway and helping us give hope a home. With gratitude,

Cory Storch President & CEO Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services

2026 Chairperson’s Dinner Honoree Congratulations to Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation Nilam Perpich, Senior Program Officer, Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation

We proudly honor the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation for its generous support, valued partnership, and unwavering commitment to improving access to quality behavioral healthcare. Through a $300,000 grant awarded under the New Jersey Safety Net Innovation Proposal (NJ SNIP) program, the Foundation has made a meaningful investment in Bridgeway’s Supportive

Housing Program and Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), both participating in the pilot initiative. Bridgeway’s Supportive Housing Program serves approximately 500 individuals across eight New Jersey counties. This critical support strengthens Bridgeway’s ability to provide person-centered services that address mental health, housing stability, overall wellness, and the essential resources individuals need to achieve lasting recovery and independence. The Foundation’s commitment extends beyond financial support. Its dedication to advancing health equity, strengthening community-based care, and removing barriers to treatment closely aligns with Bridgeway’s mission and vision for a more compassionate, accessible system of care. As a Champion of Hope Sponsor of this year’s Chairperson’s Dinner, the Foundation continues to demonstrate its belief in the power of community partnerships to transform lives. Bridgeway gratefully recognizes the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation for helping create pathways to hope, stability, dignity, and recovery. We are pleased to welcome Nilam Perpich, Senior Program Officer, to accept this honor on the Foundation’s behalf.

2026 Chairperson’s Dinner Honoree Congratulations to City of Summit Mayor Elizabeth Fagan

Mayor Elizabeth Fagan, M.D., was elected Mayor of Summit in November 2023, but her service to the community began long before that. A Summit resident for over 25 years, she is a family medicine physician who practiced in downtown Summit while raising four children and coaching youth girls lacrosse for 18 years. During that time, she also led and supported numerous local organizations, including the Summit Board of Health, The Connection, the Summit

Junior Fortnightly, and the Santa Claus Shop. As Mayor, she is most proud of strengthening the Police Department, achieving functional zero homelessness by focusing on long-term solutions for those in need, and promoting greater transparency in local government. She is a graduate of Harvard University and Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her residency at Overlook Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Mayor Fagan is a proud Summit superfan, and it has been the honor of her life to help strengthen her city. A Partnership Built on Compassion and Community Bridgeway proudly recognizes the City of Summit and Summit Police Department for their commitment to addressing mental health, substance use and homelessness through compassionate, community-based solutions. Under Mayor Elizabeth Fagan’s leadership, Summit established its Task Force on Homelessness, bringing together government, nonprofits, businesses and service providers to connect vulnerable residents with housing, healthcare, behavioral health treatment and essential resources. That commitment extends to the Summit Police Department, where Chief Ryan Peters and Sergeant Kathleen Maggiulli have helped advance a collaborative approach to public safety and behavioral health. Through Summit’s Addiction Coordination and Treatment (ACT) initiative, Sergeant Maggiulli works in partnership with Bridgeway to connect individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders or homelessness with appropriate care and ongoing support. This partnership reflects a shared understanding that lasting solutions require more than responding to a crisis. They require compassion, collaboration and access to services that help people achieve stability and recovery. Bridgeway proudly honors the City of Summit and Summit Police Department for demonstrating how community partnerships can transform lives and build healthier, safer communities.

2026 Chairperson’s Dinner Honoree Congratulations to Summit Police Department Ryan Peters Summitf Police Chief

Chief Ryan Peters grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and graduated from Toms River High School East before attending Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. In 2007, he joined the Summit Police Department, beginning what has now become a nearly two-decade career serving the Summit

community. Throughout his career, Chief Peters has served in numerous operational, instructional, investigative, and leadership roles. He began in the Patrol Bureau and later served as a Firearms Instructor, Active Shooter Response Instructor, and Field Training Officer. After being promoted to Sergeant in 2017, he served as Juvenile Detective Sergeant and Commander of the Community Services Bureau, where he directed the Summit Police Youth Academy, oversaw D.A.R.E. operations, and helped develop educational and community outreach programs addressing cyber safety, bullying, substance abuse, self-defense, and other issues affecting Summit’s youth and families. In 2020, Chief Peters was appointed the department’s Accreditation Manager and led an extensive review and modernization of departmental policies and procedures. His efforts contributed to the Summit Police Department earning accreditation through the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. Promoted to Captain in 2021, Chief Peters commanded the Support Services Division, overseeing the Detective and Community Services Bureaus while also managing numerous administrative, training, internal affairs, school security, recruitment, and public information responsibilities. Chief Peters has also served extensively with the Union County Emergency Response Team and Union County SWAT Team. During his tactical service, he received advanced training in areas including SWAT operations, tactical K-9 operations, mechanical and hydraulic breaching, close-quarters tactics, chemical munitions, and active-shooter response. He participated in more than 100 tactical activations and ultimately earned the designation of Team Leader before transitioning into an administrative role within the organization where he continues to serve. In 2025, Chief Peters was appointed Chief of Police of the Summit Police Department. His leadership philosophy emphasizes professionalism, accountability, advanced training, officer wellness, community engagement, mental health and substance abuse outreach, and ensuring that the department continues to evolve with the needs of the community it serves.

2026 Chairperson’s Dinner Honoree Congratulations to Summit Police Department Kathleen Maggiulli Summit Police Sergeant

Sergeant Kathleen Maggiulli is a dedicated and highly accomplished law enforcement professional with over two decades of service in the Summit Police Department. Having been promoted to sergeant in February of 2025, she is the first woman in department history to achieve this rank. Initially Sergeant Maggiulli was assigned to the Patrol Bureau as a

Supervisor. However, in May of 2026 Sergeant Maggiulli became the City of Summit’s newly created Addition, Coordination and Treatment Officer. Sergeant Maggiulli began her career in law enforcement doing evidence intake for the Morris County Sheriff’s Department in 2000 before becoming a dispatcher with the Bernards Township Police Department. Later while employed with the Summit Police Department she would also become a per diem dispatcher with the Summit Fire Department. In 2003, she graduated from the John H. Stamler Police Academy as an Alternate Route candidate, with the highest academic achievement award (GPA: 96.6) and the Patrolman Anthony Lordi Jr. Memorial Award for excellence in Constitutional Law. She then joined the Summit Police Department as a patrol officer, where she served for nearly two decades before being assigned to the detective bureau in 2021. As a detective, Sergeant Maggiulli was responsible for investigating a broad range of criminal cases, executing search warrants, managing evidence, and serving as a Crisis Intervention Coordinator and Humane Law Enforcement Officer. She was also an ARRIVE Together Team Member, working to improve law enforcement’s response to mental health crises. In addition, she played a critical role in evidence management as the department’s Evidence Custodian and CODIS/LIMS Liaison. Beyond her investigative and leadership roles, Sergeant Maggiulli has been deeply involved in community outreach. She founded the Officer Kat’s Kids program, was a long-time police liaison for the Summit Police Athletic League, the annual middle school Stokes trip, and previously served on the Bicycle Patrol Unit, Community Policing Unit, and Traffic Unit. She has also completed extensive professional training in areas such as crisis negotiation, crime scene processing, gang awareness, handling emotionally disturbed individuals, and defensive tactics for female officers. Sergeant Maggiulli holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration, with an anticipated graduation in 2026. Her outstanding service has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Summit Police Chief’s Award and three Unit Citations.
