We would like to thank our great NCYC membership for making June a great month on the island. The weather has been unseasonably warm which has resulted in the boating season getting off to a faster than normal pace.

The weekend activities at the club have been very well attended throughout the month of June and even the weekdays have seen many members staying overnight to enjoy the beauty of the island and the comradery of our membership. Many members continue to work tirelessly to maintain the island and the clubhouse, and we can’t thank you enough for all the hard work. Many projects came together as planned and have added to the beauty of our island. 1. The new seawall and walkway were completed on time and ready for opening weekend. Additional soil was placed along the walkway for backfill and the pedestals were reinstalled. Thanks to many members that spent hours on this huge undertaking. 2. The new garage was completed, and the new walk-in cooler was assembled and was functioning for opening weekend.
