CHAPLAIN NOTES JULY 2023

Since our last Beacon was published members of our NCYC family are in need of our love, support, and prayers.

P/C Denise Huntley has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Denise sought medical advice from several institutions and has started treatment at Karmanos. Pray for strength for Denise. Pray her medical care team will have wisdom from God and treat her with compassion. Remembering also to pray that Denise, Tom, and their entire family will feel the presence, comfort, and peace only God can give. Remember to keep Jerry Krist and Irene Martin in your thoughts and prayers as they process and mourn the recent passing of daughter Janette. As too many in our membership know the loss of a child is a pain no parent should know. I pray they feel our genuine love and support. Keep Linda Pagel in your prayers as she recovers from a recent fall and broken femur that required major surgical intervention. The surgery went well, and she anticipates a lengthy recovery as she cannot put weight on her injured leg for many weeks. Also remember P/C Randy as he cares for Linda during her rehabilitation.
