19 Wait list – 1 new applicant waiting for $250 deposit (includes 6 waiting to be interviewed)

I have 6 interviews scheduled in March and early April from wait list. Mark Javery will attend the interviews with me. I have had conversations with 3 members whose family/friends are on the wait list. They want more “transparency” and the list published in the Beacon or included in the Minutes. [Note: The Board discussed whether the names of applicants should be published. After brief discussion, the Board decided that, for various reasons, the names of applicants should be published and are set forth at the end of this Membership section.] ▪ All payments received have been deposited and a copy of deposit provided to Christa. ▪ I am currently in discussion with 3 members who owe for 2023 dues/work pay. ▪ I am in the process of recording payments into Club Express for 2023 dues received for every member. ▪ Contacted Kim Miedema regarding 2023 Roster. ▪ I provided Commodore Brian and Vice Commodore Romatz with info regarding changes needed to Policies for Membership. ▪ I spoke to Mark Javery regarding a by-law that needs to be revised regarding online applications and sponsor signatures. Six wait list applicants being interviewed are: (All sponsors contacted verbally or by email.) 1. Vincent Szymborski – Clinton Twp. – Sponsors are John Zych and Pete and Pam Poirier 2. Anthony Rea – Harrison Twp. – Sponsors are Don Ruma and Tom Bugbee 3. Lou Forconi – Vermillion, OH – Sponsors are Scott Goemmel and Al Douglas 4.
