“Oh, What a Night” Congratulations and thank you to Commodore Ian and Lady Marie for planning and hosting a fantastic evening at the Commodores Ball. This is our premier event of the year and the kick off to the rest of the years events to come. Job well done. As you may well imagine picking the recipient of the Hatzenbuhler and Spirit Awards at times can be difficult, there are so many members that give of their time and talents. Past Commodore Randy and Lady Linda made three great and well deserving choices. Congratulations goes out to Ken Lipowski and Julie Delauter for being awarded the Spirit Award. While performing the duties of Fleet Captain they planned and executed the clubs rendezvous. This brought members out to experience camaraderie and enjoy traveling to different ports together. Congratulations to Don and Rana Shepperson and Rex and Pattee Oliver for being awarded the Hatzenbuhler Award. Right from the beginning of the building siding and trim project, it was evident that we needed someone with experience to run this job. Don and Rex stepped forward to take on the responsibility and with the help of a few other members they completed this job in time for opening weekend. Something tells me that they and their families have been involved in many projects over the past years.
