Vice Commodores Comments…

Three Elite brigade work parties have passed and we still have a long way to go in putting the clubhouse back together. By the time you read this, the new tile in the bar area will be completed and the installation of the original bar will be well underway. All of the new bar equipment still needs to be installed including the new cabinet along the rear wall along with granite countertops for the new cabinet and service window, the existing freezer and cooler, new ice chests, new beer and wine taps and the new bar sinks. Besides all of the above, we still have the usual yearly tasks to complete before we open the club for another season. We have one more Elite Brigade and two regular work parties left to get every task accomplished. Please mark May 7 th , 14 th , and 21 st on your calendar and come out and lend a hand. Remember that every member is required to work 4 hours per year at a work party. You don’t have to have a specialized skill to participate, just a desire to help make our club the best there is. Opening weekend is approaching fast so come on out and lend a hand, you won’t regret it. VC Pat
