On Sunday, the Pride of Michigan arrives and the official Flag Raising Ceremony - paying honor and remembrance to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Ceremonies are followed by the Commodore’s luncheon and Blessing of the NCYC fleet. As you will note, along with being steeped in tradition, this is a fun packed weekend. If you are looking for ways to get involved in the club, take a minute to review the online calendar. I encourage you to get involved and contact the activity organizer. Organizers are always looking for an extra helping hand. Another great way to get involved is to manage a week on the island. We still have a few open weeks and Ron Braun would be delighted to get those filled prior to the opening weekend.
