Calling all current and future members of the First Mates! On Saturday, May 24th at 10am inside the NCYC Clubhouse we will hold our First Mates General Membership Meeting . Please join us for Continental breakfast that will be served at 9:30 am. Anyone who would like to join the First Mates can sign up and pay their dues at the meeting. Please see Carla Verkest, Membership Director, to join us! Following the meeting, the First Mates will host a “Patriotic Patio Party” from 11:30 – 12:30 outside NCYC clubhouse on the patio. All are welcome! Please bring an appetizer to share in a disposable container. Along with the appetizer table a “specialty drink” will be available during the party. We will also be selling raffle tickets for the “Tommy Bahama Cooler of Cheer” on Friday and Saturday, the winning ticket will be drawn after dinner on Saturday. The flag ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 25th, 2024 at 1:00pm . A special reminder to all First Mates Past Presidents to wear your uniform, you are part of this tradition and special recognition. Special thanks to everyone that made it out to the Spring Elite Brigades and Work Parties! Our Members dedication and commitment is what makes our Clubhouse and Grounds come to life each year. What an honor it is to be a Member of such a beautiful club! Don’t miss out on the many planned events and activities your Club has to offer. The First Mates Fashion Show, Fashion In Full Bloom was a huge success! As each year in the past, this year’s show would not be possible without the Members of NCYC’s generosity. The First Mates would like to extend our utmost gratitude for all the generous donations and support as well as a big thanks to those who helped to plan, setup or simply participated in this wonderful event! Ladies’ week will be here soon! This event is planned for June 15 - 20th. This is an action-packed week and a great way to meet the ladies, make new friendships, and enjoy all the fun and entertaining events that are planned.
