NCYC has much to offer and is a great destination for someone that wants to get away for the weekend or simply have a place to stop after a long day on the water. The air-conditioned clubhouse provides excellent accommodations including internet, cable television, children’s play area, commercial kitchen and room to relax. The island has full hook-up for over 80 boats as well as a children’s playground, horseshoe pits, a basketball court, barbeque grills and tons of room to stretch out and relax under a shade tree. Membership at NCYC is easy. My wife, Colleen and I had the same reaction that many people have when they boat past NCYC. It is a beautiful place with a lot of curb appeal when viewed from the North Channel. This causes many to think it is too expensive. NCYC is a working club. One of the great things about a working club is how reasonable the dues are for our members. A working club also provides pride of ownership for members when they complete a project and add to the beauty of the island. NCYC provides convenience that many other clubs do not. The parking lot on Anchor Bay Drive and the shuttle boat that can take you to the island
