Commodore Glenn Nixon Sheila and I hope our members continue to be safe and healthy. It appears we are finally seeing some improvements in the COVID-19 situation. In any case, the

Board and Flag remain committed to continuing progress toward readying the club for opening in our traditional timeframe while keeping the health and safety of the membership as our number one priority. Sheila and I have moved forward with cancellation of the Commodore's Ball at the Royal Park Hotel. We were not able to see any clear path to holding the event in a timely manner considering the ongoing restrictions placed on this and alternative venues. As of this time we are planning a formal event at the Club on June 12. Details to follow soon! Planning for rendezvous for this coming season is becoming more definite. At this stage we anticipate having only two rendezvous rather than the traditional three. We do have confirmation from Lexington Harbor for the weekend of July 23-25 and St. Clair Harbor for the weekend of August 13-15. Continue to watch for fanouts from your Fleet Captains for updates. It does not seem possible that we are only a bit over 2 weeks away from our first Elite Brigade on April 17th! I am sure we are all very excited about getting started on readying our boats for
