Sr. Boating and Sr. Non-Boating Members: 12 hours per Membership (8 hours on O.D. weekend, 4 hours Hosting special event, Elite Brigade project or Work party)
Junior Members: 10 hours per Membership (8 hours on O.D. weekend, 2 hours special event, Elite Brigade project or Work party)
Officers on Duty (O.D.’s) and Week Managers are exempt from the 4-hour requirement.
Members will be assessed a $50.00 per hour penalty for each hour not worked. If members do not complete their required work hours for two (2) consecutive years, their membership status will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. If approved by the Secretary, a member may trade assigned O.D. weekend work hours with another member, providing both members contact the Secretary. It is the member’s responsibility to fulfill his or her assigned weekend hours and/or reschedule a different weekend. The club’s Membership Director, as determined by the NCYC Board of Directors, will bill any member not working his / her required work hours following the last work party of the year. If the amount due is not paid by November 30 th , Membership privileges will be suspended under existing Bylaw Article V, Section 2. Membership renewal will not be accepted until amount due is paid in full. The NCYC Board of Directors reserves the right to consider special circumstances when determining members required work assessments.
JUNIOR MEMBERS: Junior memberships shall be available to the immediate family of
