Rear Commodores Comments…

Here we are at the end of August and I am writing my article for the September Beacon. Linda and I just came back from the club’s last Rendezvous at St. Clair Boat Harbor. A great time was had by all. We had 29 NCYC boats come out for this event along with 6-7 members who drove up to share the fun and festivities. Sheila and Glenn Nixon did another fabulous job with all the food and refreshments. They had great support from Ken Lipowski and Julie Delauter. What a team!! Several weeks ago, the membership was sent a copy of the proposed By-Law changes that the Board has put together. Please review these changes and be prepared to ask questions at the General Membership meeting held over the Labor Day weekend at NCYC. Lastly, we have the election of officers/directors coming up in October. The members that have stepped up to serve your Club are great people. When the announcement is made at the General Membership meeting, stop and introduce yourself and get to know them. R/C Randy Pagel
